It’s been a crazy couple of weeks, with Summer coming to a close and all. Vacations are winding down, kids are going back to school, and families’ schedules are returning to varying degrees of normalcy. It’s the time of year where lots of new faces start popping up around the gym. People are looking to drop a few pounds, feel better, move better, etc… And while we’re sure that that’s what is bringing them into the gym, many of their goals can be attained rather quickly. Something else is driving them to stick around.
Well, actually it’s not a mystery. Here are three tenets that BSP NOVA focuses on, keeping people coming back for more:
Transformation
This is what brings people in the door. Physical, mental, and performance-based transformations. And yeah, we do that (really freaking well, if we say so ourselves). You could even say it’s the biggest part of what we do. I mean, we share these types of stories, pictures, and videos all of the time. BUT, transformations are only one small part of the equation…
Community
This is the big one. People come for the transformation, but they stay for the community. Here’s how ours thrives.
Authenticity first
None of our members or coaches are the same people… Diversity is what makes this world so great, and it’s no different in the gym. BSP NOVA is a safe place where everyone can be themselves. If Biebs or Justin Timberlake come over the speakers, you’ll surely get a dance show from coach Jon. And if that’s your thing, you’ll be joining him. If not? Cool! Take in the entertainment and have fun. When working with coach Geoff, you’ll learn that five 5lb plates equal one 25lb plate. He’ll teach you that we never pull off small plates simply to add a bigger one. You might become one of Geoff’s little plate minions, much to coach Chris’s discontent. All of our coaches bring something unique to the table. And they get to be themselves every day. If they weren’t, you’d know it.
And YOU get to be yourself here as well! There’s no need to try and be someone you’re not. We want the real you, in all your wonderful, beautiful glory. At any given time we’ll have ages from 20’s to 70’s on the floor, school teachers to military, athletes to desk-jockeys. You’ll fit in just great here, too.
Our CEO (Chief Entertainment Officer)
We’re a gym, not your typical corporate work place, so our definition of CEO is a little different than what you might expect. As we mentioned in the last point, coach Jon brings a high energy approach to the gym. So, we’ve decided to give him ownership of running non-fitness events, every month, focused on FUN! These events are totally open to the public, members and non-members alike! Check the Facebook Page for updates on events!
For our Labor Day event, Jon had great food, yard games, a DJ, and fun times for all. Our next event will be in October, but Jon HATES scary things, so you can rest assured it probably won’t involve Halloween :-(.
Game Night (coming soon)
We have a BIIIIIIIIG announcement coming really, really soon, pertaining to our new gym :-). Once we move, there will be lots of new additions, one of which will be game night. Giant Jenga, Kan Jam, Corn Hole, Spike Ball, Ladder Ball, Dodge Ball, etc… We are going to be throwing down and having FUN!
Quality!
At the end of the day, this is our big secret. We focus on quality, in everything that we do. Quality of communication, program design, coaching and connection. We take training very, very serious- we just have fun doing it. We get results. We improve lives. And we only do these things through the quality approaches we bring to the table, every day.
